Loam Ananda is an Ovate and has been a member of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids since 2016. With a background in the San Francisco Bay Area Reclaiming Tradition, and deeply influenced by the Alchemical Fire Circle community, as well as a personal Kirtan chanting practice, her favorite form of magic is comprised of voice, music, movement, and service. A published author and poet, she weaves her spirituality into her poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. She is currently finishing work on a book about her Kirtan chanting practice. Druidry as a spiritual practice has given purpose to her previously scattered and random song-writing tendencies. She aims to use her bardic gifts not just for entertainment but to commemorate and transmit the knowledge and experiences of our communities through poetry and song.
